Content Policy

FanRoute is a safe-for-work link-routing product. We route outbound links to legal third-party destinations. We do not host media of any kind, we do not permit adult or sexually explicit content, we do not operate a marketplace, and we do not run content discovery.
1. What you may route to
You may route to destinations that comply with applicable law and with the terms of the destination platform, including:
- Your own pages on mainstream social platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, and Bluesky.
- Subscription or community platforms whose own terms allow your content — for example Patreon, Substack, Discord, and Telegram — when used in accordance with that platform's rules.
- Your personal website or shop, provided the destination operator is responsible for complying with applicable law (payments, tax, content classification).
- Tip jars and one-time-support pages operated by reputable third-party processors.
2. What you may not route to
The following destinations are prohibited and will result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, escalation to law enforcement:
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or other adult content. FanRoute is a safe-for-work platform.
- Any material depicting or sexualizing minors (CSAM), including illustrations, deepfakes, or AI-generated material that appears to depict a minor.
- Human trafficking, coerced content, and non-consensual material.
- Full-service sex work, escort booking, or any solicitation prohibited by applicable law.
- Deepfakes or sexualized impersonation of any real person without that person's verifiable, informed consent.
- Doxxing or pages that publish a third party's private contact, residence, or location data without consent.
- Sale or facilitation of weapons, controlled substances, prescription medication outside lawful channels, or stolen credentials and goods.
- Phishing pages, malware downloads, scams, and pages designed to defraud visitors.
- Hate speech, terrorism promotion, or content that incites violence against an identifiable group.
- Anything that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or in the likely jurisdiction of your visitors.
3. Safe-for-work only
FanRoute is a safe-for-work platform. Profiles, links, and any destinations they point to must be appropriate for a general audience. Adult, sexually explicit, or otherwise age-restricted content is not permitted, and accounts routing to such destinations may be suspended. Compliance with applicable law on the destination itself remains the responsibility of the destination operator.
4. Enforcement
We use a combination of URL pattern review, destination-platform allowlists, rate-limited link health checks, and human review of flagged profiles. We may suspend any account, deactivate any link, or remove any profile that we reasonably believe violates this policy. Material moderation actions are logged.
5. Reporting a profile or link
To report a profile, link, or destination that may violate this policy, email abuse@[placeholder-domain] with the public handle or full link URL, a brief description of the concern, and (if relevant) a screenshot. Reports of suspected CSAM or imminent harm are escalated to the appropriate authorities. An in-product report-flow is on the roadmap.
6. Appeals
If your account or a link was actioned in error, you may reply to the enforcement email you received within 30 days to request review.
7. Changes
We may update this Content Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
